Roof Repair in Richardson, TX

The area known today as Richardson, TX was settled by pioneers from Kentucky and Tennessee during the 1840’s. During the 1850’s, the settlement was located near the present site of Richland College. In the wake of the Civil War, a railroad was established northwest of the original settlement’s location, which shifted the center of town closer to the railroad.

William J. Wheeler, a local landowner, offered some of his land for the site of the new town, although he declined the offer to name the town in his honor. Richardson was named in honor of E.H. Richardson, a railroad contractor whose work in the area provided the town an opportunity for outside connections. In 1908, with the arrival of the Texas Electric Railway, Richardson was connected to Waco, Denison, Corsicana, and Fort Worth by way of the Interurban, an electric railway which helped North Texas to develop and prosper.Roof Repair for Damaged Roofing Systems in Richardson, TX
